    Crazy title, right?  Well it’s latin and the literal translation is a perfect way to describe what happened to me tonight.

It means: “The Thing Speaks for Itself.”

     Tonight the final touches were made to the album at Osceola Recording studios in Raleigh.   I am tired and exhausted but washed over in an amazing sense of purpose.  I am so happy with the final product, and hopefully I won’t be alone!

     There are 8 songs on the disc.  Patient Dick Hogin sat with me and we listened to every song.. every note.. every nuance.  A few notes went high when they should have been low and vice versa.  I screwed up the lyrics on one song.

     Lucky for me, Dick had me record each song 3 times… figuring the chances were low that I could mess up a song 3 different times.  He was right!  Everything’s been fixed.

     Funny, I feel like I’ve been in hard labor and gave birth tonight.  A wild idea to record is reality.

     Just wait.   Preparations are already being made to help me share this music locally and regionally.   The fall and winter are going to be busy busy. I intend to hold on tight and enjoy any and every opportunity that comes my way.

     I am grateful for the people who’ve believed in me and thankful that I’ve been given a gift that I can share with others to entertain, uplift, and soothe.  Music brings such joy.  It is what feelings sound like.

     Onward + Upward!
